To face life together,

I know these emotions,
And all that they mean,
I wished for release,
From the life that I've seen.

Then you came along,

An angel from heaven,
That angel was you.

The flame in my heart,
That had long since gone out,

Quite fierce, with no doubt.

Now I think back,
To how life used to be,
