The Ignorant Debater
It never ceases to amaze me,
As I hear folks talk,
How they make themselves important whilst
In ignorance walk;
Spouting off ever hot opinions
Of distorted facts
As if they really understand and
Want to know what lacks.
But when someone comes along who does
Know of what they speak,
The ignorant act like that person
Did not let a peep.
You see, my friend, the ignorant don’t
Really tell the truth.
But they want folks to think they are an
Information sleuth.
If they really knew about those things,
As they say they do,
Then they would not ignore the others
Who share factoids too.
I’m just venting out my thoughts today.
Don’t mind me, my friend.
The ignorant’s pride will show quite clear
In the very end.
