Had the day off
Had the day off from my business, so free.
Manicure, pedicure, new hair do for me.
Lunch with a girlfriend, a walk with the dog.
Got to sit down and write in my blog.
No customers to greet, and make their day.
Just me, and a whole day to play.
I love my work, don't get me wrong.
But I love my days off, resting helps me stay strong.

It was easy to see that you know how to take advantage of some hard to come by time off. Bravo. I get a whole lot of time off so I really have to be creative. Will it be golf or will it be The Poetry Showcase...ah the tough decisions in my life.

How I look forward to those days, when I have more time to do whatever I want. I have so much writing, drawing, sculpture, and many other hobbies, I expect retirement to be grand. Maybe I'm nieve since it's about 20 years off.

I love when people tell me how my work makes them feel. A relaxing walk is always good, I take the beagle so it's hard not to relax, she sniffs more than she walks.
