So many I've come to know of two decades or more,

Have not respected money, spend it at the store.

Not on food, or shelter, clothing , necessities.

But on all the things they want and not on what they need.

Never ever planning, a budget unheard of stuff.

At the end of the month are borrowing for bills, because it was spent on useless fluff.

Many hold jobs many more do not, and wonder quite amazed,

How others make their bills and fluff, to them it never phases.

The key is planning, and never spending above what you can afford.

Paying you first, by saving in a savings account.

Then the bills and necessities, and lastly if somes left,

a little something, or save that too, for emergencies, so you won't be bereft.

I tell the double decades this, and they think I am insane,

But when they can' t make their own bills, it's then they remember my name .

It's hard when wants are many, and money very few.

But work hard, save, and budget, is all that you can do.

If you do not, do not expect to be bailed out again.

Those of us who do those things, don't have the money to spend
