Passions Demise
Passions demise
The opposite of passion is the grave.
Many willingly enter the rut, and stay.
Day after day life the same,
Work, eat, sleep, only we're to blame.
Passion will scream, prod, and whine,
unresolved, eventually resign.
You see them everywhere, the walking dead.
Living life through others, never getting ahead.
Forget the bliss, visions had when young,
Despair set in, set passion on the run.
The opposite of passion, the grave,
Many enter ruts willingly, there they remain.

Passion Must Be Fed
Deb,
You offer up some interesting thoughts in this piece and most of them are born of reality. In line ten you may want to change despare to read despair.
Feed your passion on a daily basis and your pen will never run out of ink.
Write on,
Pete
