Summer is here, I've waited all year.
For gardens, greenery, and lemonaide cheer.

Live in the slow lane, on the porch swing.
Sitting on blankets, local talent to sing.

Movies on sheets in the park at night,
Families with children watching this sight.

Dancing naked in warm summer rain,
makes us forget a life of "the same."

Camping, hiking, biking outdoors,
A campfire where we make somemores.

Summer is my favorite time each year,
It's way to short, in the end I fear.
