I am a teenager and this is my second poem. i am a christian so this poem does have "religious" elements in it, but im proud of that. :) enjoy!

The Narrow Road

God put you in my life,
To be my partner,
To be my wife,

To keep me on that road, so narrow,
To keep me guided, like an arrow,

God is perfect, and he is wise,
He gave me love for you, with endless size.

God loves us and always will,
Just like my love for you, which can’t be killed.

I love you more than the vast ocean, blue,
Im longing to hear “I Love You Too”.

You pierce my heart like a spear,
My love for you is so dear.

You twist your hair, you look away,
While every moment I’m dying to say,
“I Love You Kristal”,
But not just yet,
Our love is still secret, lest we forget.

My love for you is so clear,
I’ve talked to you year after year,
About silly things, not about love,
That is something we can’t yet speak of.

My love is silent, but still so true,
I always loved you, I always knew.

All the pain and suffering I’ll go through,
Will be a lot easier if I’m with you.

We’ll go through life with problems around us,
Problems so big they will astound us, but God will help us in times of need,
To give us comfort, to help us proceed, with this life so hard,
So stressful, so charred, he’ll help us through it, he’ll be our guard,
God is there and always will be,
He will always be there for you and for me.

God gave me the ability to write these rhymes,
To say he and I love you, all the time.
