Superman
When the day comes where heroes are needed,
you know where I am.
Because for you, I will do anything.
I have a brilliant mind and laser vision.
I have super strength and super speed.
Just call me when you’re in need.
If you’re ever lost, I'll find you.
If you’re ever sick, I'll heal you.
If you need a lift, I'll pick you up.
And if you’re ever trapped in your own mind,
I'll free you from yourself.
Don't deny my powers.
Like it or not I am Superman.
In fact, "super" is an understatement.
I’m not conceded, it is what it is.
Until the time comes for heroes,
I guess I'll just wait.
Because right now,
you don't need to be saved.

SUPERMAN
For ages, females have been struggling for equality. We have come a long way since the dark ages but let's just face it things will never be completely equal, not that I'm saying that they should they be. I'm only 26 but believe that males and females have a certain place in this world and certain roles to fill. I would never expect a man to bear an unborn child (point is we are different, despite what you hear in the media. A man having a baby is outrageous.). That is a woman's job. Know what I'm sayin'? Anyway. I'm down with this poem! I'm glad there are men out there that still believe in taking care of their women. I like traditional roles. Hat's off to you for being so strong. I wouldn't hesitate to call you "Superman" !!! ;o)

Thanks Madam :) I agree with you and also believe in traditional roles. Again you are right, equality can NEVER be reached....due to the simple fact that there exists Man...Women...Black...White....Big head...Slanted eyes...Long legs. How can we ever have equality when we are all different? :) People just need to respect each other's differences, that is all. There is man, and there is Woman....that is why there is a double standard. I am glad you enjoyed my poem, keep reading, I enjoy your feedback
