I Wish I Were a Daffodil

I wish I were a daffodil,
a lovely little bloom,
Then you would come and pick me
and place me in your room.
You then would soundly go to sleep
with me in my pot,
And, while you dreamt I was a flower,
you'd find out that I'm not.

Hey Donner, Should one be

Hey Donner,

Should one be afraid of finding out that you were not a flower?

Not to worry,

I'm harmless, flower or no flower. :)

Well written...what fun

You made it look simple, yet we know it's not.
Thanks for the fun poem. I love it's simplicity, rhythm, and imagery.
