Witches and ghosties
and big yellow pumpkins!
Dark spooky corners
and black cats on the prowl!
Goblins and ghouls
and Frankenstein monsters,
big old bats flying round,
and werewolves that howllllllll !

Little vampires and princesses
and clowns come running,
"Trick or Treat! Smell my Feet!"
they cry at the door.
Adults pay the ransom
with fistfuls of candy,
then the critters run off
to gather some more.

Halloween is when children
go begging for sweets.
Halloween is the time
for chills in the night
Halloween is for children
dressed up so scary.
Halloween gives grownups
a terrible fright!!!
