Idolater
Blind adorer of false gods
Reckless idol-maker
Money maker
Power or fame
Grabby taker
Habitual faker:
Capturer, asset-stripper
Calculating captor,
And manipulating actor.
Captive for being vainly active;
Trapped in vicious disorder
Marginalizing the One and Only God
Sinking deeper into
Uncontrollable religious deviation -
A member of irreligious civilizaton.
Captive in moral lack of order -
Enabler of society's nasty disorder;
A punisher, executing a sentence on oneself
Inflicter of one's own pointless pain,
For the sin of impiety
And idolatry insobriety,
One is ill-fated relinguisher of hope -
In desperate needs for favors
Of the One and Only Worshipful God.

In Support of God's First Commandment
Thou Shall NOT have any other gods before ME...
Dr. Kardas, your poem is THE perfect reminder to all of us...what has society done to this Law of Our God? They seem to idolize fame and money more than their own soul. Greed has taken over every aspect of their lives. Instead of worshiping Our Lord, their only goal in life is MORE>MORE>MORE money, MORE>MORE>MORE useless "stuff" that one day will be again rubble and dust. In the process, they lose sight of what is MOST important...God FIRST, family, fellow human beings, and the world around them ... ALL has been given to them with LOVE through the Father in Heaven. Very powerful messages in your poetry... and as you elude- the world shall suffer greatly if they don't heed God's commands. Thank you, we are deeply moved by your dynamic style and want to read more and share what we think and learn. God bless you and keep you in His Loving care... Aways With Christ

Idolatry? Yes, STILL ALIVE In the 21ST Century!
Another masterwork of poetical genius! Isn't it amazing how many millions of people out there right now have no idea that they are idolators? I am so thrilled to read this poem and pass it on as a pertpetual reminder of what we SHOULD be (followers of God) and what we actually are...grabby takers, money makers etc. Love the descriptions and fast pace rhyme.
As post note: Truly enjoyed my evening spent reading your work. I haven't enjoyed poetry this much in a very long time. God bless...keep penning out these great words of wisdom. I'll be searching for your gems and recommend them to everyone.
