if i could write a poem i would
if i could write a story i would
if i could have one more true friend i would
if i could live a perfect day i would
if i could give you truth and trust i would
but this poem is the best i have right now
i have no story to tell
i have a true friend for now but who knows how long it will last
i wonder if the perfect day exists
i can't give you the truth i want to
because you don't want to hear it

This poem causes a smile that delights my thoughts, for
even the truest of friends often don't want to hear the
truth! The question, then becomes, what is truth if
everyone's ears are deaf and eyes are blind....
There must be a friend who listens...
