its that empty feeling you get inside
it's want
it's hope
it's wishes
and prayers
well i have a wish for you
a wish i've had since the day we met
i wish to hold you
and never let you go
but it won't happen
i just know
that you don't love me
like i love you

I enjoyed your poem Wishes! I think it is nicely written, perhaps the
last stanza tells too much or could be a little different...I like the freshness
of this write! The way you composed this poem, in form and style, is
very original, yet it's a poem with an old theme: "unrequited love"!
My Wish
sorry it has taken so long for me to reply. i agree it has an old theme but i was feeling a little old on creativity and my second stanza came to my mind... i just had to use it.
