Very short and to the point. Yet it certainly captured my attention and my emotions. Very well done! I can relate to this poem's meaning.
Recently ended a love affair with a lady I cared a lot about, and the hurt is still there. I considered her more than a lover, I considered her a friend.
But she was cheating on me, she betrayed my trust in her, and now I'm dealing with being alone. Which isn't bad because writing helps to ease the pain...
Yesterday, I wrote Winter Rose a comment. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but the comment was meant for her. Anyway, having seen your name posted, I went to your blog. You've written some wonderful poems. Very deep! You're a very good writer. Haven't had time to read them all, but I like what I've read so far. And I promise to read them all.
