Are your eyes grasping this breath taking beauty?
Does your mind take in the sweet things in life?
The smell of fresh grass
The sweat, cold liquid that squirts out of grapes
The tender kiss a lover can give you
Can you, do you appreciate it?
The simplicity an after noon walk can bring
The way the water rolls off you
As you take a shower after a long day
Can you enjoy the beauty of yourself?
The way you think
The way you feel
The way you look
Can you, do you love yourself?
Can you look in the mirror and see
Who you really are inside
Do you see only flaws you choose to see?
Look at who you are
And be glad you are not me, or her, or him
Be happy you are different
Don’t try so hard to be
To look
To act
Like someone elts
Be your self throw and throw
That is where true happiness lies
