Tombstones
This is the place where I buried my faith,
Tore it out and laid it to rest.
I bleed, but I do not believe,
That life is just heaven's test.
This is the place where I buried my hope,
Gave up and walked away.
I bleed; it's why I don't believe,
That hope did more than lead me astray.
These are the graves of all that I had,
anything that once was good in me.
These are the eulogies, the memories,
engraved into my skin.
These are the scars...
(Never forget, never forgive, never fade away)
Personal graveyard.
(Never fading, never leaving, ever here to stay)
This is the place where I buried my love,
Moved on without my heart.
I bleed, but I cannot believe,
In more than being torn apart.
These are the graves of all that I had,
all the things I've left behind.
These are the remorseless words,
engraved into my skin.
These are the scars...
(Always in me, always here, always by my side)
In my graveyard.
(Always killing, always crying, always dying...)
