last monday I did stuff
that I truly regret.
I need to apologize
and hope people forget.

I made a fool of myself,
of that I'm quite sure.
I need to stay sober,
that's the only cure!

when I over indulge
and become way to loose;
I blame it on alcohol
yes, that's my excuse!!

I've been quite lucky
that the people I choose,
don't take advantage
of me full of booze.

for when I am sober
I'm Dr. Jekel, not Hyde.
You can actually tell
that I do have some pride!

this "social anxiety"
God only knows where I got,
even in a friendly place
leaves me feeling distraught.

the happy pill's helping
yet I use the alcohol crutch.
Oh that damn Bacardi Gold,
I like it so much!

so starting today
I pledge to still have fun,
but as for the rum and coke,
I will only have one!
