A Boy Named Misery
The hate stained our guilty hands.
Ignorance burned our sorry lands.
You cannot hide the awful truth.
This is the world of corrupted youth.
Your past shines through your eyes.
The pain flows through your lies.
A boy named Misery shone the light
into the depths of your darkest night.
Misery was his first and real name,
The love he shared was such a shame.
For you, he swallowed his pride.
For you, he would have died.
He gave you such a forgiving heart,
With your hands, you took it all apart.
The smile you had on, was his only solace,
though he knew, your words fell truthless.
