2 Wipe With

Up, down and all around
You fail to look inside my heart
Miserable sap casting judgment
Upon the color of my face
Unlike you, I offer no excuses
I'll take the blame like a man
A child like you will never understand.

Entitled to your opinion
But I won't pay for the funeral
Cause you're dead wrong
And its amazing you can spin a tale
Lock, stock and barrel
When you never were in the same room
The good book says I should respect you
But the cynical side of me
Just yearns to send you to the abyss
A place I'm sure you've been before
Guess if you meant a lot to me
I'd be saddened by how you felt
But you shouldn't be throwing stones
I'm not the one who abandoned a family
That my mislead friend is a fact
Not supposition racing to a conclusion
To somehow believe that I'm a master emotional thief
Brilliant magician with many a trick up my sleeve
I'm sure when its all said and done
You'll be forgiven for getting it all wrong
But don't expect a favor from me
I've got a memory like a steel trap
Your bitterness fell into my lap
What was I supposed to do
Turn the other cheek?
Let you manipulate and beat me senseless
With you underarm charm?
The alarm bells should have gone off
In your chemically altered head
You ain't messing around with a pretty boy
Straight out of college
Wet behind the ears
Feeling sorry for sharks
Who'll use me as bait
Seeing red, cutting through
The liberal sensibilities
Sharpening the blade
No longer seeing straight
But you threw the first punch
I refuse to be knocked out
Tattoo this behind your drug addled eyeballs
I admit my mistakes
And the last thing I wanted to do
Was hurt her, but until you
Hear both sides of the story
It's all self serving drivel
Denial is your expertise
And you're never gonna find relief
By blaming the imaginary foe
Cause the ones who'll screw you the most
Is the face that returns the gaze
But you're too mentally lazy
2 fu.ked up on dope
To even notice.

It's my fault
I'm your doormat
Wipe your mud
Upon me...
