Everybody is Somebody as Nobody

Everyone in a hurry
Without getting nowhere
Everyone consumed with worry
But no one seems to care
Save for the dramatic flair
A mind enveloped with static
While posing in the mirror.

Everyone wanting peace
With a heart full of hatred
Everyone obsessed with relief
While overdosing on sedation
Except for the select few
Who desire a view
Beyond paradise lost.

Everyone desires a piece of the pie
Without having to share
Everyone refusing to die
Forgetting a soul used to reside there
Save for the belief
That we're all somehow unique
Despite being wolves
In sheep's clothing...
