I'll Be Home
Your eyes kill me
I can't look away
So beautiful
I am yours...
Call me when you can
Everyday, my preference
I desire more then a text message
But logistics prevent us
From a tender embrace
Accept these primitive means
Just to stay connected...
We love each other deeply
But half of me is missing
As I yearn for your presence
Incomplete, the story of my life
I was a fool to walk away
And fear is a crutch
I'm feeling it these days...
Don't worry, I'll be there soon
Perhaps, I'll ask you to be my wife
One is given so many chances
Frankly, the choices are slim indeed
I've never been easy to know
Show the world, what I want them to see
Yet, you picked me apart
So much for being mysterious
I can't run for there is no escape...
Patience is your virtue
You waited a lifetime
When you strip away the
Cleverness of one more defense
Is that I need ya
To have and home and ignite
The spark of a loving heart
That has been in storage
For most of my life
Rough up my smooth edges
And I'll polish up yours
The door, I thought
Was closed forever
Is open halfway and I intend
On squeezing through....
Yet, the struggle never ceases
The ode to self fullfilling destiny
Doom, gloom, loneliness an illusion
For I was born to get to you...
A promise that only free will can destroy...
