What A Pity
On my knees
Praying for serenity
Rid me of this frustration
Remove this contempt
Depression is my vocation
It doesn't pay the rent
But it sure bends the senses!
Orphan grieves the loss of his parents
Discovers they died
Before he was born
He was torn from the womb
First words dripped with scorn
You never wanted me
I was a waste of sperm and egg
Love was a one way street
Survival of the fittest
I was fit to be tied and beaten
They kept their mouths shut
While my heart was bleeding.
What makes me think I can be a parent now?
What a pity
I can't turn this blind man around.
