Repent Receive.
Carrying away misgivings, insecurity
the clear creek always consumes.
Haughty held acheivements
of now distasteful shrine
drift lifelessly, sinking slow.
Carrying all such loads, no weight
overthrows the meandering road.
Voluptuous darkness of nights
spent in lust, blissful glut rise
first to the lilly-littered surface.
Carrying the mistrust of the sunset,
glowing, gilded currents perservere.
Amongst the broken soul,
where alone loathing and
the bluest rue dwell.
Carrying boundless blasphemy,
banks of the bewildered remain.
Forgiveness to the
stricken of swollen
malice and inadequacy.
Carrying rudiments of sworn
compassion, fallen to sly retraction.
Desolate, yet delicate
a torn heart sees the
most golden memories.
Carrying the morning's mourning,
unrest of hooks inside indulge.
Concealed as a coma
wrapping my withering
whole, a soul it must be.
Carrying me alone, rubicund
in a stream whose burdens
Redeem an abandoned soul.

Excellent.

I love this poem and especially this line. I do not understand why many of the people here post their writings in another name other than their own. It seems like it would make it easy for people to claim them as their own. I make sure to put my name and the date if I remember it. Poetry.com is not as good of site, in my opinion, as this one, but they do post them free of charge and they also copywrite your work in your name right then. Other than that, poetry.com isn't a very good site.
