United States of Abominations.
Closed eyes, capitalist consumption
withered away my most fervent
of dreams.
Bloodshot.
Opportunism in the land of
Opportunity.
One of many whims,
insidious, intertwined
insubordinate, myths.
Where do work and
dignity align?
Where do monetary
vigilance and humanity
compromise?
In other words,
"Define this great line"
of pestilence, inequity
malevolence and tyranny.
All fire will devour the
aspirations of all workers
within the lines of the
American dollar.
The rich are not people,
rather glorious, most worthy
kings of knowledge, whose
blood seeps influence, love,
compassion, philantrophy,
charity, good will and
intention. A poem, couldn't emitt
their magnificent essence.
The latter of this imbalance
has strecthed beyond retrieval.
I have seen it! Dour, forlorn
dreams withered in endless work.
Subjugated, violated, exploited we work.
Savage to the naive eye, inhuman to the
privilaged hand. Where is equality
in a society that rests on hierarchal
structures?
Where is equality in a society that
rests on appeasing the overloaded
aristocratic pigs, and stomping out the
justified plights of the working,
starving but striving class?
The answer is that there is none.
Equality is a defunct, unrealistic idea.
A metaphysical ideal that governments, and
organization bodies of all the like insist on
"implementing" ferociously. This capitalistic
lie will consume all miserable workers into
its vacuum as menacing as the densest of
decimating blackholes. The world is a vacuum,
in my opinion, and cleans all the rout and dirt from society and replaces them with
standardizations and regulations, which only
further inhibit one's intrinsic abilities.
This inihibition, this regimentation of
human's lives will only lead to more and more
protest, human suffering and struggle.
This relentless, unforgivable, despotic,
wicked and heretical action must be
protested or the mundane society of
present will only transcend to the decades to follow, amplifying it's evils with renewal every single year.

Consolation
Well, at least you're free to write something like this in America. More than can be said for the vast majority of nations in the history of civilization.
I'm no fan of the Bush administration (as I've expressed ad-nauseum in my poems) but I am a fan of America. I think with enough hard work, we may someday be able to right the ship.
And remember, no nation on earth gives more to worthy, charitable causes across the globe than the good ole U.S.A. There are some positives...even if you have to look for them!
yes
I am a big fan of liberty and try to do my small part to make a better world. raskin
Thanks
Thank you for both of your insights, I
just happened to be fed up with my job, lol.
It escalated and vented through a poem. I love
this nation as well, and the freedom for which
to write whatever I wish.
