Darkness overtook me,
I could not stop it, as like a fog it
enveloped me within a vapor shroud,
soaked my weary eyes until I could not see
then stuffed itself into my ears
leaving a monotonous drone of nothingness,
like osmosis it soaked through my pores,
numbed my being., when I opened my
mouth to protest its intrusion
it choked me and I could no longer breathe.
