napoleon

"stand you're grounds!" the french leader ordered,
as the russians appeared from the horizon,
"don't worry about this invasion;
i'm sure it won't last long!"

the russians cried a mighty call,
and trampled the grass and land,
their general shouted over the war cries;
"what's this we have at hand?"

napoleon answered the russian's question,
with an obvious little sneer
"my grande armee is invading you,
i can already see you're fear!"

"napoleon you've made a bad mistake,
don't you know who we are?
we'll destroy you're grand armee, my friend,
and run you off our tar!"

the clash of war sounded,
over the shaken mountains,
blood was spurting everywhere,
in a glorious crimson fountain.

napoleon was right;
the war ended quite soon,
and with a turn for the worst,
it was done shortly after noon.

his army crushed and defeated,
napoleon retreated to france,
all the while the russians,
danced they're victory dance.

napoleon put his mind to work,
and thought so long and hard
even though his army,
was just a battered shard.

napoleon was taken captive
when he fell to the british stronghold
he died of a stomach illness,
which ensured he was not that old.

(this is the story of the french invading russia)
