Excuse me

How I’ve seen you, I’ve lost all the lovely words
I could of said, like the first time, the first time
I saw love, if only one word, for one look.

I’ll dream of a sunset sky, when you were in my arms,
The empty space in a beautiful song, filled with your voice,
The night sky lost a star, and I only knew.

The image of you in the mirror is still there, every day,
The kisses you gave, brushes anyone’s hello away,
Don’t tell me a secret, I’m only a dreamer.

A flower finding you, will wilt, but not whither in your arms,
Seeing you, I see joy. I thought I saw an ocean when,
My eyes became dreams, of my tears.

You could be that close, to all the angles that whisper in your ear,
I stood then looking at the only one that could be for me,
I thought waiting, would tear my heart.

You are still the more, I’ll ever pray for, when I don’t see, or hear you not,
I could say you move my heart still, with your smile,
And your hands in mine, only to catch.

Picture me thinking, only of you, for you could not dream of it, so much as I,
Why then, this isn’t first to love you, as it should have,
The time we don’t think, enough of love.
