Forgetting myself in all of my ways
I could not have the wisdom,
Found the reasons to learn.
But that it’s not just wise,
For the wisdom of God, has,
More than the spirit to grow.
Forgetting myself in all of my ways.
We know what is, the speed of age,
And the results of hope, to learn.
In the Lord’s hands, so it is wise,
For the wisdom of man only has,
A short time to even want to grow.
Forgetting myself in all of my ways.
There should be, in anyone’s youth,
Those shown the mistake’s they learn.
Whether he, she, or I, know to be wise,
And if you seek forgiveness, it has,
Before the spirit, a desire to grow.
Forgetting myself in all of my ways.
Not only from youth, to age in wisdom,
Even a closed heart, your spirit can’t learn.
At the speed of age, lifeless and not wise,
There is room He gives forever, a believer has,
But by His words, that we hear, to grow.
Forgetting myself in all of my ways.
