Kind of like this
(For my dear departed mother)
It’s where I forgot there was a field,
There, in the beautiful sunlight, that beautiful morning.
No matter what birds flown by,
Or a cloud to block and present a shadow,
Her face was golden to me, and her thoughts, oh so peaceful.
It was, it said, rest and allow this to move you,
What’s around, it’s not a show for yourself.
For some of the most beautiful things that happen,
Happen around us, we’ll not always catch,
Or caught it too late, show it to me again, nature would laugh.
It was truly my nature, to want love the more,
The emptiness can also last, longer in the passing,
And between, “I see you,” and, “I wish I had you sooner.”
But it was nice to know now, that she would
Loved to have all, even sooner.
Every woman wants a diamond,
She only wanted open arms,
And there were plenty of open arms for her.
Stolen love time, fed the short time,
Forgiveness was the love needed.
All we needed was, the more time,
Not the least time, but it was, the last time,
Granted hope, it was, peaceful that time,
Granted in our hearts, you are a remembered time,
It’s more that it was, a said time, than a sad time.
You still grow in my heart, as well as for it,
Missing you, I’ll remember your heart, there and then.
