Let it be with Caesar
The promise man kept his word,
Showing the choice that bought
The best, only some could buy.
And the life graded on how
Many more you could live with.
This, and more, you’ll become agnostic
Sure enough in this, one short life.
So then you try to make it perfect
For those who are very much like you.
The thought forming this outline,
When you think only of “them,” in it.
No God in this view is needed,
But put his name and face on it,
To promise, and to serve it only.
