A new dream to discover

All they did was turn around, and what they thought,
It was when they believed that the world was flat,
Back then, it wasn’t that they better know, but should.

For what was thrown to earth, red fireballs with tails,
They were from the angry gods, for no sacrifices given.

Also, it was their modern beliefs that the discoveries,
Without it first mentioned in records, would play tricks
On the minds and sights, this was then define as ungodly.

Those you thought otherwise were punished, even to death,
Forcing, the only one law, for their judgment to judge all.

Today, the one’s that are out to find are now more prized,
Even Noble-ish, and sometimes lucky, or only fail to self,
“Will I find it first, I found the last one, or, the first there.”
