A time to take this in
I wear myself with my soul, and yet feel the earth,
To rest and leaning my hands placed here.
But it’s not the ground that would feel this bow.
Brushed aside and viewed, it’s now memories unearthed,
Wells in my heart, and God reaches in here,
Holds me still, to show me what life is, not just the now.
There were dozens of them, but now only one rose,
Within my hands and to place it right here,
My tears have passed for knowing you, not just how.
The love I remember banished fear, and grew hope,
I walk a bit slower, to take in myself here,
And see the road placed well within my reach, and bow.
