What's my name?
What’s My Name?
I have a tapestry hanging against the wall,
Large enough, eight by eight,
It’s mostly to cover what I hate,
What I really don’t like, is the mess on the rug,
The tapestry should been laid, rather than hung.
Still, I love that bird, it’s been my favorite pet.
I call it Fred, Fred is the only word it said at all,
Bright green, blue, deep red and purple, a macaw.
Some times he’d fly to that rod, hung with tapestry,
Made it shook and vibrate with color, what a gallery.
It’s worth it’s price just to hear it say my name.
He’s been my dear friend, mess and all,
I’m just glad I don’t look like it at all.
One thing that makes me laugh, it’s even priceless,
He’ll only say my name, during an infomercial about baldness.
