Glancing round the desert of these abandoned homes,
Writing down forgotten words in these forgotten poems.
Floating farther up, than ever imagined before,
Floating up to come back down, only craving more.
See my arms stretch wide, while the rain pours down on me.
Sighing, living, loving life exactly as it should be.
Let the bare grass, filter across my bare feet,
Let the strangers stare, and only admit defeat.
Bathe in all the silence, with no one ever here,
No more thoughts for futures, or the never-ending fear.
Cradle every bug, every rock and every creature,
Listen to the melodies, watch every little feature.
Swim into the ocean, until your body is no longer shown,
Ride the back of a great-white shark, and make the sea your own.
Climb atop the highest hill, and the very tallest tree,
Then jump real high and fall real fast, cause now your finally free.
Gaze upon the face of death with the beauty of the light,
Smile politely and stand your ground...
