pouring my soul and dreams and
ignoring my goals and screams and
wishing to compose my life's work
upon this page of flowing streams

I've got places I've been and
things that I've seen and
more than just that, I've been in circles
dancing around upon broken ankles

composing a symphony of rhymes
a difficult task to endevear confined by lines
but I shall try in order to spill to thee
my shouts within that must come free

can you hear my words in music in your ears
and as it grows louder and faster from my tears
let your soul go limber and move
with the sway of the motion of each audible tune

so now I've completed my symphony
my composition of prose within me
for your listening pleasure and satisfaction
and now use it for lesson, thought or fun
