The Icy Embrace
damp from the frosty layers
reeling from the cold within
lost and ashamed, alone and blamed
with restlessness upon my skin
so, embracce me with your (scars)
embrace me with your (sorrow)
for I believe in all your suffering
I believe in your (tomorrow)
open the door and allow the draft
to waltz in upon our clammy flesh so tough
as long as I have you to hold me
I will wander into the blizzard known as love
don't decieve me, just believe me
while I greet you face to face
I'm melting in the coolness of an ice castle
and you've yet to rescue me with one,
(the icy embrace)
