Alone At Peace
I watch the sunset
As it lays behind the tree line
Then I count my blessings
Because this is mine
The serinity of the night sound
Hope for future tomorrows abound
On my porch I sit back and rock
watching as the sheep flock
At peace living one dream
Dreaming still another
Wondering was I ment to be alone
Surely there is room in my life
to include another
Others have rasied havoc when
I thought them heaven sent
Each taking pieces of my heart
As on their way they went
Maybe my porch needs another rocker
Another to share my dreams
But then maybe togetherness
isn't all that it seems
Guess I'll rock and watch
It improve upon itself
This really is a piece of heaven
I have built for myself

Thank you Dolan .It would be nice to fill the 2nd rocker but I already have so much
to be thankful for.As for my spirit remaining I have enough spirit for ten people and attitude to go with it lol.And am really enjoying all my new found friends in this site.
