My world

I offered you a heart
You gave back a tear
I offered you words of love
You didn't want to hear
We shared words of passion
We both knew weren't right
Spoken in the heat of passion
Died by the morning light
I think of you each morning
At the rising of the sun
Then find you there again
When my day is done
We were once lovers
Then reverted back to friend
Not sure what to call us now
Has even that come to end
I walk in the woods
The trees still stand tall
my world has turned around
Thought even they might fall
Everything in my life
Seems alittle out of place
I sit alone,shut my eyes
And still see your face
