On my Way
I shall be on my way
To you I was a game to play
Somehow I had forgotten the rules
As step by step I walk the
walkway of fools
I'll retreat but I won't surrender
The message you sent
Now reads return to sender
With passions you had to slake
I was mere iceing on the cake
So adios,farewell and amen
As I walk the freedom path again
That is all that I wish to say
I shall be on my way

This also is really good.
A very final farewell poem, leaving no doubt as to your intention.
Stay strong, my friend.
It doesn't look like I'll weaken soon
I have been called alot of things my friend but meek, mild litle flower was never one of them lol

Yeah!!!
I like your spunk, Freespirit. Give 'em hell, Lady! I admire your spirit.
I'm standing as strong as you...dealing with a similiar situation as you've written about here...so this poem - and I do mean every word of it - holds a lot of meaning for me.
When I read it...it was like WOW! I could have written this myself...your last words especially..."As I walk the freedom path again/That is all I wish to say/I shall be on my way.
been there done that
I guess we all have felt that way about some things we read.I know that I have.
