So Young

So young,barely sixteen,already a mother,already a wife
Yes,so young to settle down to that way of life
She was happy at the time,it was all that she could want
So young she settled down, now finds that she can not
Now she hunts for youth and all that she has missed
Yes gone now are the memories of when they first kissed
So young she gave up her youth to do what she must
She gave her heart to him and her love in trust
So young,so very young, now that youth has all been spent
Now she sits thinking back, wondering where it all went
She never fulfilled her dreams, life didn't go her way
She has found love but never love to stay
Her youth has gone now gray steaks her hair
She sit alone, remembering back ,now nobody is there
Young so very young, now how long ago it seems
Back when she planned her life, back when she still had dreams
This same woman now not so very young and no longer a wife
Has picked herself up and sits planning her new life

never too late to start

never too late to start planning, i ilke the progression through the poem, and the ending, picked herself up and planning
