Venting
Today i wasn't going to write
But then felt the need to vent
Heaven help us all
Can't believe how last night went
I'm an old lady so you know
I couldn't be that hot
Yet they come on so sweetly
thinking me senile and to believe the rot
First one i told I had issues
And from our relationship I was stepping back
He asked if we could remain friends
and talk was he using tack
second call was the idiot
the one that forgot he had a wife
it seems he is divorced now and wants back in my life
Pete you asked how many in the gloria groove
not even I can comprehend
The wills made out,I'll outlive them all
so just let us all pretend

I just love my visits to your blog because it's like viewing a soap opera with a rhyme scheme. It could be called "All My Bad Experiences With Men" or "As the Worm Turns", etc. You brighten up my moments with your steady attack on stupid insincere fellows with overactive glands. Life is stranger then fiction
the sad thing is so many women I have met don't see or seem to think for some unknown reason they deserve or have to put up with the
crap.Some people put up with so much just so they don't have to be alone male and female.I chose to live alone here in the mts in the woods and love it.

Good Men Are Hard To Find..
Gloria, you absolutely right in what you express. This 'need' and our fears of insecurity can lead us to be with men who have little or any regard for our feelings. Though equally, there are a few unsavoury women out there aswell I am sure. I really admire your courage to stand strong as an independent women as I too was in the same boat at a point in my life and I value my independance greatly. I am blessed to have found a truly loving soul now..but it wasn't always that way. I think iv'e heard enough lies from men to last me a life time already!

Debs thank you for your comment.I was married to a very nice honest faithful man that I loved dearly until the day he died.As you can tell have also found my share of the other kind both in senior years and my younger days.Oh well............
