so beautiful.....thats what us women need.....our own space and time...freedom to roam the road we know we need to tread....and for a man to understand that and act upon it is so rare and lovely.....peace

I agree, Gloria...we all need our own space. It's nice when we have a partner who can appreciate that and understands when we need to be alone.
Balance is the key to a good relationship...whether you're married or not. Sharing time together is priceless, but we all need time to ourselves. To do our own thing and to grow.
And growth is what it's all about. I loved this poem from start to finish, but one line in particuliar really stood out for me. It read, "For the more I am to me,
"The more I can become to you."
I think that statement alone summed it up wonderfully.
