Indian wonder

The car ride is long, but we’re on our way
Just you and I going to Agra today
Stop for a bite at a quaint little place
My funny poses put a smile on your face

Finally arrive but they won’t let you in
Pissed off you are, I’m trying not to grin
I’ll stick by your side no matter what
These corrupt guys just want to get bought

Fight to get in and oh what a sight
This worldly wonder in marble all white
Symbol of love for the whole world to see
In my heart I’ve built you a thousand, won’t you agree

The guide tells a story that brings this to life
A broken hearted man, grieving for his wife
This unbelievable day passes painfully fast
My expectations have long been surpassed

It’s now a year later and I still remember
My mind is in May but my body is in December
One beauty down and now six left to go
These marvels on earth, only you I will show
