They Don't Know

Some may question the love we share
Why, do they think I really don’t care?
How can I describe this indescribable love?
When it was gifted to me from above

I would die for you, give-up on you as my wife
Only if I would be promised you, in every next life
Pierce my side; it’s not blood that flows
But all the reasons why my love still grows

I want a love that’s long, that’s strong, that hurts
Not one that comes and goes in spurts
Can you feel it coming off this page?
I hope it’s my love you feel, never rage

They Dont Know

I was disappointed. I was expecting the poem to be LONGER! The poem is another good one. Good use of questions..."how can I describe this indescribable love?" I particularly like. Cheers

Thanks

Thanks for the kind words poetmaster. Appreciate it!

Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning.
