You said you loved me

You said you loved me, I thought I heard you say forever
I didn’t realize you really meant, you love me till you find another
I’m still in a daze don’t know what’s going on
One day we are inseparable, the next day you are gone

You said you loved me, I foolishly let my guard down
Now I’m left alone, no one cares if I drown
Don’t bother saving me, or even shedding a tear
“Did I make a mistake” is the thought you should fear

You said you loved me, you even showed it
Baby this, baby that, so why did you quit?
What’s next for me is really unknown
But for now I’ll cry myself dry to the bone
