Death, My Virtue (DMV)

One quality I share with everyone around,
that one day death will come crawling without making a sound.
Inch by inch, day by day.
Death, my virtue, death be it may.

Morbid, though true, it matter not.
Life be full of grace, though some may have sought.
But what is grace without disappointment,
when, on one fateful day, death will set your appointment.

Death, My virtue.
Oh blackened rose.
Death shall hurt you,
so be on your toes.

Death- as much a gift as life

"Death shall hurt you", The whole poem talks about being on your toes and your appointment, but death shall hurt you...that couldn't possibly mean the listener is dying now could it? Death is a virtue that everyone shares, the ability to come to a graceful end. The hard part is surviving the death of loved ones.

With all sincerity,
