Don't Be Dead
I had a dream, though not much to be seen.
The burial of my love, not an enticing scene.
For six feet under, mine soul is encased.
A coffin for two souls, my body outside be a waste.
The darkness plagued the sight, be it not so.
I cannot see your eyes, because my tears travel to and fro.
Ashen palor your face took, though once viluptuous pink.
Now not so soothing, my heart now begins to sink.
But this dream be a dream, though one day be it may.
But for now be you with me, and forever shall it stay.

I'm scared
Too real to not evoke true fear, "For six feet under, mine soul is encased. A coffin for two souls, my body outside be a waste."
That's just about the worst nightmare in the world, and I've had it before without the thought to phrase it so well. But if my love were to die, though I'd leave my heart with him, my soul would only be a third wheel in the afterlife, for his beloved would leave her soul too.
With all sincerity,
