In Provincetown
In Provincetown, Jack is King Kak
The primal screams and armswings
Occur back to back
On the ticky-tack hill, with clients and things
Hang over, coffee, bacon and eggs for all
In the hot summer sun
Every day is fun
Every day, every one, upon the hill
at the freak show, New Horizons hall
In Provincetown, Jack is King Kak
The primal screams and armswings
Occur back to back
On the ticky-tack hill, with clients and things
We head for the dunes in single file
Schtoons dressed up in their smelly argyle
Can’t help themselves but grunt, smile & drool
Every where, all over, and onto their wool
It’s a freak show, as usual
In Provincetown, Jack is King Kak
The primal screams and armswings
Occur back to back
On the ticky-tack hill, with clients and things
The clients are scorned by hurried passers-by
Vacationers who drone aimlessly 'round
Their tedious lives in no way belied
Horrified, at primal screams and armswings
It's fun making sounds in the waves, wind & sun
In Provincetown, Jack is King Kak
The primal screams and armswings
Occur back to back
On the ticky-tack hill, with clients and things
It’s night at the hall, there’s lots of alcohol
And the clients are having a party
Suddenly one dies, no one knows why
It’s a fuckin’ freak show, is all
Let’s do the armswing and get high
In Provincetown, Jack is King Kak
The primal screams and armswings
Occur back to back
On the ticky-tack hill, with clients and things
It’s a shame, the new reality
No more Provincetown debauchery
Who’s to blame? Not King Kak, not any
But the schtoon-client, simple
He had one chromosome too many
In Provincetown, Jack is King Kak
The primal screams and armswings
Occur back to back
On the ticky-tack hill, with clients and things

fuckin' awesome...
wow, a poem that ironically reads like poetry... and leaves me wanting more... I loved the cynical twist (if that's the right word to use), I don't know if that makes me cynical but if it does than what the hell, sign me up... cause that poem kicked ass... You're my very first read on this site and I hope that's a good indication of the quality here... Thank You...
