this mic i grip
in my right hand
only a few will ever come to understand,
i pin it down
and hold it upside down
making it bleed not just red,
but sometimes black or blue,
it "clicks" instantly with me,
i flip this mic to express myself thru it,
it makes my voice heard like a megaphone except without the audio,
they say this mic is mightier than a sword
and so true this proverb has been,
minds it has giving new perspectives
hearts it has touched
and lives altered,
its my best friend,
i hold it dearly,
and with it i think fiercly!
