Smile for the sun

As the Sun did rise in the East,
To heat me up so slow,
As I first saw Your beaming face,
Passion took time to grow,
But as it rose all became clear,
I saw You smiling so.

The Sun does shine all over You,
And warms You every while,
It gleams all over Your body,
And radiates Your style,
And Your pretty eyes, nose and mouth,
All light up when You smile.

Now the Sun continues to rise,
As You sit next to me,
And when I feel Your warm embrace,
The heat hits suddenly,
When Your hand is on my shoulder,
I see Your smile clearly.

But now the Sun sets in the West,
Just like each time before,
Its rays shall fall on someone new,
As it rises once more,
And though the Moon laughs at my love,
Your smile I still adore.

So will there ever be a time,
When day blends into night,
Only if I can meet a girl,
Who comes with her own light,
Then we can keep the Moon at bay,
And all will be alright.

i'm smiling now!

like it a lot. no doubt you have a sunny disposition. Nice wish at the last stanza. If only...? Romance has not died! Well done. Look forward to more.
